{"id":7362,"date":"2022-07-13T16:29:12","date_gmt":"2022-07-13T14:29:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/foodm.be\/business-development-intern-ghent\/"},"modified":"2023-05-04T11:14:28","modified_gmt":"2023-05-04T09:14:28","slug":"business-development-intern-ghent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/foodm.be\/en\/business-development-intern-ghent\/","title":{"rendered":"Business Development Intern &#8211; Ghent"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Timing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Duration: 1-6 months (does not have to be consecutive)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start: to be agreed, depending on your schedule!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who we&#8217;re looking for<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Commercial talent that is eager to help build our mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forget theory, strengthen our start-up in real life and discover how many challenges a start-up company faces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your part<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As a business development intern, you will play an important role in finding and contacting new customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work closely with the founders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prospect, generate leads and make appointments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gather information, for example through surveys or by speaking to customers and staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make analyses of the sales performance against sales targets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actively participate in effective sales conversations and be responsible for following them up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain contact with customers and suppliers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update sales documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be responsible for the optimization of our CRM-tool<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the end, we want to focus our internship on what you like to do and in which you would like to gain experience.
